I purchased this to use when I take my mother to her medical appointments since she has trouble walking. This Garvee transfer chair is perfect! It's very sturdy and nice looking. It rolls smoothly and my mother feels secure with the seatbelt. I'm happy I purchased this.

So far excellent operation opening and closing. Well designed and construction appears to be well done.

It’s everything we wanted and needed. One of the best features is that the handles are high enough that my tall husband (6’4”) doesn’t have to bend over to push it. The ride is very smooth. He’s found that it folds up more compactly than another transport chair we have. The locking mechanism works very well, and the location on the handles makes it easier to use than others we’ve tried. The fact that it’s narrower than other transport chairs may be a problem for some, but it’s a big plus for me. I’m short and somewhat compact, making this perfect for me. It’s well constructed and light in comparison to others. Highly recommended.

So far, pretty happy with this chair for transporting my mom around. It folds up well and is both light and slim enough to lift and roll through the doorways in the house. The chair locks when you pull the handles down; the one side works better than the other does and it isn‘t super intuitive. The chair rolls really well and is moderately comfortable, though I wouldn‘t want to be in it all day. The only other complaint is the foot rests have to be removed when folding it down or getting Mom in and out. It would be nice if they could fold and lock out of the way instead.

This wheelchair is FANTASTIC! It‘s not a WC for an individual to use on their own but so great for a care giver to use for their patient. It’s lightweight (easy on the back) making it easy to fold up and put in the trunk. Footrests are easily attached and detached (lock in place). The toe ’ledge’ at he back allows gentle tipping of the chair to easily get over bumps. The safety belts make my friend feel more secure. Hand brakes work extremely well. Does not budge when in locked position. That has no storage bag/compartment is the only thing I’d change about it. From a different company I ordered an attachable bag for the back of the chair for storage. PERFECT transport Wheelchair!

Chair is perfect for our needs. My husband weighs 206 pounds and has difficulty walking right now. I am 85 years old and although I weigh 30 pounds less, I can still move him through the hospital corridors easily. I can fold the chair and put it back into the car with ease. Also it is easy to maneuver through doorways since there is no additional hand wheel like on a regular wheel chair.

Right out of the box it was a super simple to put the extra pieces on. Very lightweight, I bought it so my mom could help my dad get around easier. She can lift it into her car and it‘s folds nice and easy.

This wheelchair rolls very smoothly and is so lightweight. The foot pedals are super easy put on and take off when folding up the chair. It easily folds and fits into the back of my SUV and also in the back seat if necessary. I like that the seat belt snaps and unsnaps easily. I am so glad I purchased this item because it has made my life SO much easier while taking care of my mother.

This is lite but mighty! This is such a great transport wheelchair, it‘s easy to fold and put in the car and easy to take out of trunk and open, the handles even fold down if you have a smaller trunk. The ride is smooth and the seat is comfortable. I would buy again if I needed another one.

Perfect for going in & out of stores. Can be easily folded & put in the trunk. Has all the features of a regular wheelchair other than the person can‘t push themselves. This makes it easier for older people to transport a friend or family member with it being so lightweight.
