I highly recommend this tool. I was concerned with some of the feedback from others, but let me provide additional information. A point was brought up about the mixing of oil and gas. The auger comes with a great container where it's marked how much gas and oil to put in to have the right mix. It actually has measurements for 25:1 as well for other tools, but you have the 50:1 to use for this tool. There should be no issues with this. The bigger concern for me was the twisting of your body when auger stops. There are two things to avoid this. Make sure your left leg or body is tightly against the auger so if it starts to go, you can absorb the motion. Secondly, you'll learn that when you see it slightly resisting or vibrating (not in a something is wrong with tool) then stop, get rocks out, and continue. I dug 24" holes very quickly. Small strokes and lift to get dirt out, and every so often stop and get more dirt out with your hand, continue, and you are where you want to get to with no problems. This saves a lot of time, and hard work to dig out a hole manually. I like this auger specifically due to the two extensions, and many sizes of bits. I highly recommend this. I had an issue with a leaking gas cap, but customer service was very quick to respond and they sent me a replacement cap for free with no issues.

The auger arrived quickly and packaged in a double cardboard box. Seemed to be adequate and everything inside was perfect. Assembly is just attaching the bit you want to use. Other than that, its ready to go. Just add fuel. Unit fired right up. I dug 2 holes so far with the 8" bit. This thing is powerful! Hang on tight or your going for a ride! This auger is going to make my pole building so much easier! The quality is good and the Auger is easy to use! This beats the ol poast hole digger by far!

Works great. Easy to use. I like how easily it digs holes, it makes setting posts a breeze. It's not to heavy and is very powerful.

Works great and saved me a ton of time I used this auger to dig holes for a new fence, and it worked way better than I expected. It was easy to set up and simple to use, even for someone without much experience. It powered through the soil quickly and made the whole job much faster. No complaints so far—highly recommend if you need to dig a lot of holes.

Bolt on the throttle and power switch, mix fuel and 2 holes drilled under 10 minutes

Unboxed it, filled it with gas mix, and drilled 12 deep post holes for my privacy fence in under an hour. Starts right up and digs like crazy!

Digger works like a monster! Knocked off 1 star because the delivery box was crushed on one end, but all the parts inside were undamaged and intact.

Replaced my heavy manual post digger with this unit. Best decision ever for digging fence holes!
