For the price this saw works very good. Easy to assemble. Would highly recommend.

I love this thing. The quality and power of this tool is better than I was expecting. Changing out parts and assembly is relatively easy once you get the hang of it. The handle is a good size although it is a bit heavy. I haven't had any issues with it operating since I've received it and it's remained pretty smooth.

This has to be the bargain of the century for what you get versus the price. The unit, once assembled, makes short work of ornamentals that have grown into monsters over the years as well as taking down any branches up to 6 inches in diameter (even larger). The engine starts up easily and has plenty of power. I'm very pleased with it.

The package included the pole sections, saw attachment, shoulder strap and the basic accessories needed for setup. I especially like being able to adjust the length depending on the height of the branches.

I would not call it super heavy duty, but for residential trimming it does a really good job.The reach is the big win. Branches that used to mean dragging out a ladder or calling someone are now a ground-level job. The 12 inch bar goes through typical yard branches without struggling, and the engine has enough power for the kind of trimming most homeowners actually do. It is not super heavy but definitely not lightweight. Plus the noise is just normal pole saw noise, wear headphones to protect your ears.It takes a standard 2-stroke fuel mix at 1:25, and the big tank means I can work through a good chunk of the yard on one fill. The shoulder strap helps because holding a pole saw overhead gets tiring fast no matter what it weighs.For me the value is simple. It lets me keep things trimmed on my own schedule and pushes off the day I need to bring in a professional for the serious work. If your expectations are house and yard maintenance rather than commercial land clearing, this fits the bill. I am happy with it.

This is a pretty decent gas powered pole saw, but it does come with a few things worth noting.Assembly is really straightforward, not much to put together at all, so that part was no issue.The power is genuinely impressive, especially coming from a battery powered one. It is noticeably more powerful and cuts through branches really easily, though I will admit that extra power does make me a bit more cautious using it.My main gripe is the pole itself. There is a degree of wobble to mine that I am just not a huge fan of, it does not feel like the sturdiest thing out there, and I do have some concerns about how it will hold up over the long term. That said, I am not using this for anything too extreme, just some routine trimming on a few small trees, so I think it should be fine for my use case.It is also worth noting this is GARVEE, and I have had mixed experiences with the brand, mostly around packaging and build quality on some of their other products. The pole wobble concern fits a bit into that pattern for me.Price-wise, at $179.99 I think it is a fair price for a gas powered pole saw with this much reach and power, just go in with realistic expectations on the pole rigidity.Overall, it is a pretty solid and powerful pole saw for light to moderate trimming work, I just hope the wobble does not become a bigger issue over time!

As other reviews have stated, this 42.7cc adjustable pole chainsaw is a torque monster that easily handles limbs 4 to 6 inches in diameter. It is a very heavy unit so you will want to make use of the shoulder harness to help support the weight. I love the large capacity fuel tank and easy starting engine. Make sure that you check your chain bar oil tank regularly as you can run out of bar oil before your fuel tank is empty. Keep the engine rpm high as you start and make your cuts to prevent chain grabbing and sending torque spikes through your gear head and driveshafts. I did have issues with the sprocket assembly where the sprocket retaining bolt and washer kept backing out, leading to the chain coming off the sprocket at one point. After my 3rd tank of fuel, the sprocket retaining bolt and washer backed out and was lost and I had to replace it with a new bolt and used a locking washer. I would recommend emptying the bar oil tank when storing as the bar oil can leak out and create a mess. I hope the driveline holds up long term as the polesaw has worked very well so far.
