I used the middle buster with a solo shank to do my initial trench to run a buried network line. With the purchase of longer bolts, I strapped the other 2 shanks on each side of the center and busted a wider trench. Then with the help of a welder, I welded a down pipe to one of the shanks to run my line through as I drug it in the already busted soil. I was using a 29 HP tractor, and I did end up bending the shank mount and one shank with my rocky soil. The hitch receiver is still just fine and for my purposes, and that was all I expect to use after this initial trench creation. The shank mount can be wiggled into the receiver if needed, and can likely be straightened with a press. It was still worth the purchase price for both completing the initial task, and for the use of the 3 point receiver (to move trailers around) long term.

The mid buster item was as advertised. Quick delivery, good packaging, easy setup and I put it to work immediately on my Kubota B-series. Yes my tractor supplier has a ripper of better quality however it is 5X the price. The Value for the Garvee ripper is there and considering my usage was the smart purchase. Thanks Garvee for providing inexpensive quality attachments for small farms!

Good rigid steel structure that handles tough roots well. My only minor complaint is that the hitch pins were a snug fit in my quick hitch, but once locked in, it worked flawlessly.
