This magnetic drill press is perfect for a beginner just getting in to metal work or even a workshop. It’s made with very high quality materials and is heavy, strong and durable. The magnet is very strong and although I don’t like to, you can easily drill with it overhead when you have the electromagnet turned on. The specific type of drilling I do, accuracy is very important and this does the job perfectly. It’s on the mark basically every time and the water cooling system that it has helps with this greatly. It’s pretty fast and can drill through steel, iron and more pretty easily as it is quite powerful. It can hook up to annular drill bits but also comes with a 5/8 Chuck as well so it has a lot of different uses. It’s a great deal for the price and worth every penny.
