This rake is 30" wide x 10" deep, which is plenty for me. My purpose for this tool is to help prepare the lawn for reseeding. My plan is to basically start over, so will get rid of what is there now and bring in fresh topsoil. This rake will help greatly in leveling that new soil so that the grass seed can be planted. It comes with all the tools you need and the mounting rack. The assembly for this is about 20 minutes. Not because it is complicated, it isn’t. The time is because you are wrenching the bolts tight so that the head assembly is solid and ready to act as a weighted float to smooth soil and sand. If you have a socket set the assembly will be down to about 5 to 10 minutes. The handle assembly is very strong and designed for quick assembly and quick break down using locking points that are designed to hold tight but release when precise pressure is applied. So not failures with use, easy to store and easy to use. Once assembled it has a solid weight to it that does the job and you only need to push or pull to level the soil.While testing this – patching up a back yard – a neighbor asked about it and told me that this was what they were looking for when they were redoing their pavers themselves. The applications are numerous for this and it is very useful for homeowners, gardeners, and those who have a little place out in the wood. Great price, easy to assemble, does the job and stores easily.

Good heavy construction. Handles dirt and gravel paths fine. A bit heavy after a few hours of use, but that means it's built to last.
