Excellent press

Outstanding little shop press for the serious DIYer. Really like the remote cylinder, great as a bench top press. Seems to have a lot of power for a 10 ton press.

Might have to do some adjusting

Looks good and for a 12 ton press at its height it fits perfect anywhere. Since I dont have a garage I set it in my bathroom for storage.A few problems arose however. Its almost as if the parts were poorly manufactured because items didnt seem to fit without flaw. This probably due to poor inspection of quality assurance.However with that said, for its price, I was willing to overlook these imperfections with simply adjusting the minor adjustments myself.One problem I ran into was the base arms (witch hold the item being pressed) the bolt holes were way off. I ended up drilling a more closer fit to make it work.For the price point, Im not too upset. However, some other person who isnt very handy might be quite upset.

Doesn't wobble at all when I'm using my vice grip. Thick frame.

Heavy duty structure. The wood looks very high-end and can handle a heavy vice grip without cracking. Clean matte frame finish.

Beautiful wood finish

The rubberwood top looks too nice to work on! Almost wanted to use it as a regular desk in my office. Adjusting height works flawlessly.

Missing two washers

Box arrived slightly torn up and was missing a couple of washers for assembly. Luckily I had extras in my garage, but check your hardware parts closely.

Smooth adjustable height

Love being able to switch from sitting to standing while working on electronics.

Top quality workbench frame

Very happy with this Garvee bench. Welds are thick and frame holds up to my anvil setup nicely.
