Flawless G80 steel lever hoist

Completely exceeded my expectations for a 0.75-ton utility hoist. The engineering behind the automatic brake system is premium, the G80 steel links line up cleanly through the guide rollers, and the rubberized handle provides excellent ergonomic grip. Garvee delivered commercial-grade lifting utility at a fantastic price point.

Perfect for tight space rigging

The short lever handle layout provides amazing mechanical advantage while fitting into awkward spots where a full-size chain block won't clear. Excellent utility tool.

Stout tool, shipping box was damaged

The mechanical performance of this hoist is top-tier; it pulls massive weights without breaking a sweat. Giving it 4 stars because the heavy chain must have shifted during shipping, splitting the cardboard box open on arrival. Luckily, the hoist itself is an industrial tank and wasn't scratched.

The drop-forged safety hooks are excellent and feature heavy-duty latches that won't easily bend or slip. Gives me full confidence when rigging heavy loads overhead.

Heavy duty hoist, lever switch a bit stiff

This hoist is exceptionally solid and handles lifting heavy shop components effortlessly. The G80 chain feels like it will last forever. I am dropping one star only because the directional lever switch (up/down/neutral) was a little stiff to toggle with work gloves on out of the box, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Absolutely amazing tool. It's relatively lightweight but incredibly strong. It holds engine blocks perfectly steady at any height thanks to the dependable mechanical braking system.

I bought this 3/4 ton lever hoist to help lift and realign heavy machinery frames in my machine shop. The G80 alloy steel chain is exceptionally rugged, and the ratcheting mechanism operates smoothly without binding up under load. The compact body design allows it to work flawlessly in extremely tight quarters.
