Nice, it is very long so perfect for my project but would be better if it was a little wider (like 2’ at least). Also option w/o the plant pats/holders would work better. It’s very light material, I’ve hope it will last for more than two three seasons (it’s for my climbing roses so can’t replace it every year (not for $100!). In general I’m happy with it. I’m giving 5 stars for now;)
As with many things in life, I had a certain purpose in mind for this planter/trellis setup, and when it arrived, I found that it was better used for a different purpose. We wanted to install the set at the entrance of our vegetable garden to have flowering vines to attract pollinators. However, when I saw how sturdy the trellis is, I decided I would use it for our wisteria that had become too heavy for the trellis we currently use.The trellis poles are a thicker diameter, and most importantly, they are internally connected with metal pieces and then have plastic covers over the connection points. Any screws that hold pieces together are already preinstalled, and everything can be pushed/snapped together without needing any tools. The entire trellis is well designed and even has, on the sides, additional preinstalled supports that make it more stable than my old one.The planter boxes, on the other hand, could be slightly sturdier. They are well designed, and each piece easily slides into place. The wheels are sturdy enough and roll well. However, the plastic is on the thinner side, and I had two broken sliding pieces. I used them as top pieces to ensure that the boxes remain stable. Fortunately, the set comes with decorative strips that cover the damage. Since the boxes’ plastic is on the thinner side, we will use our old, lightweight trellis with the boxes and try to find lightweight climbing plants to use in them.Overall, the set looks very nice and is well-designed. If the planter plastic were thicker, this would be a winner.
Easy to assemble. Looks nice and accents my home.
I'm really happy with this garden arch! For the price, it's a great deal and looks good on my patio. The planter boxes were pretty sturdy once I got them assembled, and with wheels, they keep everything neat and movable. The drainage is great for my climbing plants, or any plant, really. The black plastic coating on the metal pipes gives it a nice look that complements my outdoor space and helps keep rust at bay. The only tip I have for anyone considering this is to use the included gloves during assembly. Some of the pipe edges can be sharp, so don't skip wearing them! Also, while the arch does have wheels for mobility, they work best on pavement or concrete. On regular ground or grass, they don't roll as smoothly, so plan accordingly when choosing your placement. Our patio is concrete, and they move around well on that. Overall, this is a fantastic trellis for anyone looking to add vertical aesthetics to their patio or garden. It's fairly sturdy, attractive, and functional. I like it! 5 Stars!
This garden arch is even more beautiful in person! Assembly was pretty straightforward (two people made it easier), and once it was up, I planted climbing roses on either side. A few weeks later, the plants were already weaving through the trellis and it looks absolutely magical. The planter boxes are a nice bonus — perfect for annuals or herbs at the base. It made an incredible backdrop for our backyard party too. Very happy with this purchase!
The arch is well-made and provides excellent support for my climbing plants. It’s easy to install and has held up well in various weather conditions.
Decorated it with fairy lights and greenery—looked stunning in photos! The metal is thick and stable, even in wind. Packed away flat after the event.
The balloon circle arch made decorating super fun and easy. It held up well outdoors . Assembly was quick and anyone can do it alone.
I was skeptical about “all-weather” claims, but this metal garden arch trellis with planter boxes has been outside for 18 months including snow, hail, and 100°F heat. The powder coating looks like new. My wisteria (very heavy when mature) hasn’t bent or damaged the lattice. The adjustable height feature is practical – I raised it to 87 inches when my trumpet vine outgrew the lower setting. Planter boxes are spacious enough to hold soil and annuals, and they drain well (I drilled a couple extra holes, but the design already had good drainage).Only small note: wheels are plastic but surprisingly durable. I roll it twice a year to mow underneath. For anyone needing a rust-free heavy duty steel arbor that actually supports climbing roses or ivy through all seasons, this is worth every penny. Beats wooden arches that rot in two years.
