This portable work stand arrived in well packaged, with all the required pieces and hardware ready to be assembled. Assembly was simple, following the graphical directions (no words, just pictures), and required two small adjustable wrenches, or sockets of the correct size. The heavy-duty steel construction feels solid, and the 750-lb weight capacity gives me confidence when working on larger items. It's been stable during sanding, painting, sawing, and repairs without wobbling.Setup only takes a minute; the chains are fully adjustable with a clip at the end of each. Extending them to full length sets the working height lower to the ground and creates a larger work surface for bigger items (perhaps working with a full sheet of plywood), while shortening the chains sets the working height up to about waist-level, but reduces the support area, which I found good for supporting dimensional lumber (see photos). When working with painted items (car parts), the padded support bars help protect surfaces from scratches. The folding design lets it store easily when not in use, making it perfect for garages with limited space. However, because of the chain attachment hardware, I found that I couldn't fully close the support arms to be perfectly flat for storage. But they do collapse far enough for convenient storage.
I will be using this work stand in lieu of saw horses - it's more readily portable and easier to store. But I have grave doubts about that 750 lb. capacity - I'm not an engineer, but it seems to me that the weight bearing capacity comes down to the strength of two bolts, so I wouldn't bet on it holding up to anything really heavy. Just saying...The instructions were not good - I'm still not sure I have all the washers in the right places - but I did manage to get it assembled. You will need tools, by the way - I had to use a wrench to get one of the nuts on, and to tighten the joints. Also, there was an orange powder in the plastic surrounding the tubular legs, and it didn't match the color of the paint. Rust perhaps? I don't know, but it did give me pause...This work stand will be fine for my purposes, but there is no way I would trust this with anything more than ordinary household and/or garage duty.
Solid well made, heavy duty. Easy to assemble and fold up nice. Handles my Hammerhead Whale Shark with ease. Perfect height.
I got this folding work bench a few weeks ago & it has been an absolute lifesaver around the house. This portable work stand is impressively sturdy & built to take a beating. So far, we have used it for automotive repair & maintenance in my garage- it holds bulky body parts like car doors, hoods, fenders & bumpers with zero wobble. Having a dedicated, stable surface at a comfortable height makes working on bodywork & general repairs so much easier on the back. In addition to car repairs, it has been a total life saver around the house for various DIY projects & woodworking. When you are finished, it folds up quickly & stores neatly out of the way, which is perfect if garage space is tight. If you need a reliable, heavy duty stand that can handle serious weight, this work bench is worth every penny.
I absolutely find UBER value in this awesome sawhorse that actually acts are 2 when setup. It has two resting platforms automatically and their adjustability is super. From height to width it’s extremely easy to change and to set up as needed. Storing is also a breeze as it’s fully collapsible. The quality of metal and materials are top notch, it’s stable + even, has a great weight to it, plus I can utilize it for so many different projects and purposes - super versatile. I love everything about this fantastic piece of equipment and utilize it often without fail. I feel very lucky to have it as it’s adds tons of value and ease to my workshop. I highly recommend it and it’s worth every dime.

This is one of those tools that doesn't seem all that exciting until you actually need it. Whether you're working on a bumper, fender, door, or even using it as a temporary work surface, it's nice having a dedicated stand that's easy to set up instead of trying to balance parts on buckets or whatever happens to be nearby. It folds flat when you're done, so it doesn't take up much room in the garage either. The frame feels solid once it's opened up, and I had no concerns about stability during normal use. The chain support does a good job of keeping the legs from spreading, and the overall construction inspires confidence. It's rated for a substantial amount of weight, and while I haven't come anywhere close to testing its maximum capacity, it handled everything I placed on it without any flexing or wobbling.I also appreciate the foam padding on the top. It's a small detail, but it's important when you're setting painted panels or glass on the stand. The padding helps prevent scratches while also keeping whatever you're working on from sliding around as easily. That makes it useful for more delicate automotive projects as well as general shop work.Another thing I liked is how versatile it is. Even if you never work on body panels, it can easily pull double duty as a portable sawhorse, painting stand, woodworking support, or just an extra work surface when you're tackling larger projects. Having a tool that serves multiple purposes always makes it easier to justify the space it takes up.For around $43, I think this is a worthwhile addition to a home garage. It's well built, folds away quickly, and feels like something that will last for years with normal use. If you're looking for a sturdy portable work stand without spending a fortune, this one offers a lot of value for the money.
I got excited about this as a replacement for my old, heavy wooden sawhorse pair that doubles as a portable workbench when I drill a 3'x5' plywood platform onto it. I wasn't sure how to secure the platform onto this item, until I realized that I could just flip it over and use extra large electric cable fasteners. Works like a charm with 7/8" wood screws on 1" plywood. It's so much easier to drag this lightweight work stand around than the sawhorses as I move around the room. It's strong enough to support my weight, which is an added bonus when I am doing ceiling work and painting. For use in an auto shop... I don't know. I grew up in a commercial garage, and I know what kind of construction and materials are needed to support an engine block and other heavy automotive parts that you need to set aside to do extensive repair and restoration. I wouldn't use this for that. On the other hand, I plan to use it to service my push mower and replace the blade without having to flip it over and leak gas and oil everywhere.
This is a solid, straightforward work stand that is useful for a variety of garage and workshop projects. The steel frame feels sturdy, and the chain makes it easy to adjust the width and working height. The foam padding is a nice touch for protecting painted panels, glass or other surfaces from scratches. It folds down quickly when not in use and does not take up much storage space. It is especially handy for supporting bumpers, doors, hoods or larger pieces while painting, repairing or working on them. One thing worth noting is that the listing references both a 500-pound and 750-pound capacity, so that should be clarified. Regardless, it feels plenty stable for the types of automotive and home workshop projects most people would use it for.
This work stand is great for a variety of jobs. The wide top side makes it great for creating a mobile work table and is also great for woodworking and auto body work. The stand is easy to assemble but the instructions are so small that you need a magnifying glass to actually see the diagram. The stand is very strong but the 750 lbs rated load seems to be a bit of a stretch for its capacity. I lifted myself onto this stand and noticed a lot of stress on it and i weigh 230 lbs which is a far ways from 750. Maybe that weight is achievable with a narrower lang placement but that also introduces a load instability/ tip hazard for that much weight. Overall very nice work stand with a simple and easy to use design.
