The chair was assembled in about 90 minutes, I just wish the Allen key included was an inch longer, it would save 10 to 15 minutes assemble time if they did so. The chair looks nice, but it is extremely firm and could use more cushioning. That's it for the chair, but the Garvee charges your credit card the very next day after they print the UPS label, the problem is that they do not actually ship your order, and they never replied to my 3 emails. My chair ended up shipping 7 days after my card was charged. It took so long that I thought it was a scam and asked my credit card to remove the charge.
Between the recline, massage pillow, cup holders, and charging ports, this has turned into my go‑to chair. It feels like a mini lounge setup without taking over the room.
I keep it in a small media room and use it as a lounger with my laptop. The side pocket and charging ports keep everything handy and cut down on clutter.
I’m a heavier person and was a bit nervous, but the steel frame feels reassuring. No creaks when reclining or pulling it out into a bed, which is what I wanted.
It doesn’t take up much room, but still feels wide enough to curl up with a blanket. The three positions make it feel like you’re getting more than one piece of furniture.
The vibration on the lumbar pillow is actually pretty relaxing on low. I tend to use it in recline mode with a show on, and it’s become part of my wind‑down.
Overall the build feels solid and the faux leather looks sharp. My only small gripe is the cup holders could be a touch deeper for taller drinks.
We’ve got this in a room that doubles as an office. During the week it’s a chair, then we pull it out on weekends when friends stay over. No air mattress needed.
The wheels on the pull‑out section roll nicely, so it doesn’t scrape the floor. It also makes it simple to vacuum underneath, which is a big plus.
If you like a really soft seat, this might feel a bit firm. For me it’s nice support, especially when it’s in bed mode and you’re lying for a full night.
