This is a very high quality delta style anchor and it is made to survive the most demanding conditions.The shank which contains a generous slot for the rode and a hole for a trip line too, is made of 1/4“ stainless steel and it is secure welded to the box type pointed shank of the anchor foot.. It is stamped 5 KG.
The petals of the foot are made of heavy plate and reinforced in the back by a welded bar to keep them separated and to prevent distortion under load.

For it‘s size this is a heavy anchor and it is not to be confused with cheap sheet metal variations often seen. This is intended to last forever or even l=longer.
It is only slightly magnetic if that matters to you.

In addition to being of robust construction it is highly polished stainless steel and it is beautiful!

Delta type anchors have great holding power in comparison top their relatively light weight.
They dig into many types of ground and do not depend on only weight to gain holding power.

If you are looking for a delta anchor and want the highest possible quality. this one should attract your attention. It is made to very high standards and IMHO worth every penny.

I bought the 11 lbs = 5 kg model. It is fully, and beautifully polished. It is really magnificent as art. I like plow style anchors and happen to own another 5 kg, very similar anchor but cheaper galvanized steel one for comparison. See pictures. The galvanized version also 5 kg is noticeably larger by an inch or 2 in several directions. This is completely subjective, but I might have been inclined to go up one size in anchor, perhaps the 13 lbs one, had I seen these side by side like I try to show in my pictures. That said, it is heavy for its size and beautifully made, and beautiful to look at. It is also priced right. The basic design is that of a time proven plow anchor and I am confident that it will work well. This is clearly a quality product.

I have tried other anchors and haven‘t found one that will hold my boat in place in sandy or mud bottom to ordered this to see how it works. Here are my observations so far:1. the anchor is really well made using stainless steel (see pic 1) it is shaped like a plow and made to dig into a soft bottom. like most anchors you will need a section of chain to keep it at the correct angle to dig in to the ground.
2. I was glad to see that it fit into my boat anchor roller (see pic 2) making it easy to deploy and just looks good sitting there on the front of my boat.
over all this is by far the best quality and best constructed anchor that I have owned it is top quality all the way and designed for a soft bottom surface. I look forward to actually testing it in both salt and fresh water fishing this summer and will try to update this review after I have actually used it for the season but so far I am extremely pleased with this anchor

Well built. Good design. Perfect size for a 19 foot boat. No problem with holding power in the sand or even in an unknown lake bottom. Worth the cost.

I guess I‘m like a lot of people who never gave an anchor much thought until the one I had failed me. My old mushroom type anchor just wouldn’t hold my boat on a windy day on the lake and it cut short our fishing trip! After looking at several other types of anchors I decided on this one because it seems to have better holding power at a smaller size than other “fluke" style anchors. To say I was impressed upon opening my new anchor is an understatement. This thing is BEAUTIFUL! And it’s just what I needed for the muddy bottom of my lake! I’ll be taking the boat out again in a day or so and if I encounter any problems I’ll do an update here on my post. But, so far I’m satisfied with this anchor completely.

Quality is great added heavy duty. The size is perfect for my large pontoon boat. This product is so good that I bought two. It is very easy to use and looks great. The weight is perfect to keep my boat in place. Highly recommend this product.
