I live in a 1400 sqf duplex that has an upstairs and downstairs. The upstairs houses the bedrooms. It stays about 5 degrees warmer upstairs even if I have all the upstairs vents open and the downstairs vents closed. I installed this in my bedroom to keep me cool at night without having to cool the entire duplex. So far it works like a charm. Sound is minimal and does not wake me up at night. Lots of options to fiddle with and figure out (manuals do not explain each function clearly). Overall worth the money I spent. Plus I assume I will save some on my electric bill not cooling the entire home at night. We have temps up into the hundreds with 80% humidity during the summer so this will work out well for me.

Very rugged frame design. It drops the temperature nicely on warm nights. Installation took a few minutes to get level, but once locked in, it runs smoothly.

Heavy duty construction. The fan speeds offer good air distribution across the room. The shipping box arrived slightly worn out on the corner, but the actual steel chassis inside was completely safe and pristine.
