It's a little tricky to put together but we (two of us) managed. As we were putting it together the handrail was in the sun and became rather hot. So before we added hand rail we threaded a yellow pool noodle on the handle. We also added little reflectors on the risers beside the steps. We put it on our dock to assist going from dock to top of seawall. This will help us be safe!

The GARVEE 2 step with handrail is actually a pretty strong and sturdy step. Assembly takes a bit of time since the instructions were pretty bad. We started out using too many washers and ran out of washers. The instructions direct you to assemble it upright, we flipped it upside down to build it since we actually had access to the screws and nuts with it flipped upside down. One side ended up having a pretty big gap so I had to fill it with 3 washers to get it tight and snug. For some reason, the instructions had you use a really long screw for the handrail, so there is a lot of the screw poking outward. ?I would have liked to have seen a shorter screw provided for this to prevent such a large amount of screw poking out. Overall, the steps are very solid and sturdy. Each step has a texture built in to prevent you from slipping on the metal top. It is nice and heavy step. Does not slip, does not lean or tip at all while you are using it. The bottom of the feet are not padded so take that into consideration if using for a rv when you move the step inside to drive to your next location.

This set of metal steps does support a large amount of weight without any problems. The steps are wide and have a textured surface tread that reduces the risk of slipping when wet. The handrail is a great addition for safety and stability of the users. I originally ordered this for use with an RV, but found that it also works well with my hot tub.Instructions lacked a bit of detail, but assembly was not difficult. All the necessary tools were included. My only wish would be for just a slightly thicker and sturdier handrail. I don't think that it will break with normal use, but could be better.The price seems to be in range with other similar sets of RV steps.

I bought these for my hot tub. I was not expecting them to be as sturdy as they are. They are built right and did require about 20 minutes to fully assemble. I like the handle and makes it very easy to get in and out of my hot tub. They are powder coated, seem very durable and should last a long time in the weather.

My kids use it to climb into the RV, and I feel completely safe about it.
